“The Disaster Artist” but its Michael and Trevor.
A young, earnest Michael has signed up for acting classes in his small town, hoping to escape his dull life through modeling and acting, which haven’t been working out so far.
In his class Trevor is a bizarre and outlandish, barely comprehensible man all the other students are freaked out by.
After Michael gives a half mocking compliment to one of Trevor’s performances at class, Trevor takes him out to dinner, and from there Michael is pulled further and further into Trevor’s bizarre orbit as Trevor becomes more and more obsessed with him.
Where does Trevor get the money for all his outlandish gifts? (drugs) and why does he lavish them on Michael (badly disguised homoerotic intent) and why is Trevor now writing an extremely terrible screenplay he wants Michael to star in? (drugs and badly disguised homoerotic intent).
Some day I might write this 😂
