No not at all. I’m just not sure why the suggested at alternate term when we were researching the history of the term f/o.
I wondered if they might incorrectly think we were researching the origin because we thought there might be something “problematic” about it and therefore want to use a different term.
(for the record the term ‘comfort character’ is a bit of a squick for some of us. But thats neither here nor there.)
