We talk a lot on this blog about how fiction does not equal morality, and your fictional interests don’t have anything to do with your irl morality.
I want to also remind everyone following us that we also do not believe that health equals morality, and believe that health is not a moral imperative.
You are not immoral for being unhealthy, or immoral for not pursuing your own health whether that health is attainable or unattainable.
Health is not a moral imperative; being unhealthy is not a moral stigma or failing.
And it shouldn’t need to be said, but obviously it is good and fine to want to pursue your own health, and to have health as a goal.
What is not okay is assigning moral judgement on others for not doing the same.
