Yeah, people want to see honest, accurate portrayals of PTSD in media. So long as it’s the type of PTSD where the only symptoms manifest as shyness, crying, artsy dream sequences, convenient backstory exposition flashbacks, and could be cured by group hugs with friends.
Not the kind that includes stuff like lashing out at loved ones, impulsivity, controlling behavior, difficulty managing anger or aggression, or substance abuse. Nope, we ONLY want nice, perfect innocent victims here that are easy to feel bad for and aren’t complicated in any way.
