I lose a year off my life every time someone calls ageplay and similar stuff, “pandering to child molesters.”
People who want to assault real children do not want to see some grown woman cosplaying a child. They’re not into adult women, it doesn’t matter how you dress them up or have them act. They know she’s an adult woman. They’re not getting off on that. Child molesters typically cannot be satisfied by watching an adult pretending to be a kid. If they could, the rate of child assaults would be greatly reduced. Most people will not risk going to jail if they can get what they want in a non-illegal way.
If you just want to have something that you perceive as a thousand dollars, would you steal a thousand dollars of real money if you were just as happy with someone handing you a thousand dollars of play money?
Even if a child molester COULD be satisfied by watching an adult woman play as a child, would that not be the better alternative? Would you not rather have a child molester getting off to an adult woman pretending to be a child rather than an actual child?
And to the argument of, “well it encourages them to act on it.” No, it does not. Statistically, having no safe outlet for something leads you to acting on it more.
