#I can’t believe this even needs to be said.#Who do you think writes all of your favorite shows and books?#As if children think other children are writing these stories.#Unless the child writing it is a savant who didn’t need to go through years of training and failure#there are literally no children writing the stories/scripts with characters they can relate to.#Adults were children once. The body ages but the soul doesn’t. They remember what it was like.

#people are like ‘you’re weird for wanting to imagine kids in these situations’#adults… used to be kids though???#what is so difficult to understand about ‘we are relating to the kids’#we’re putting ourselves in the shoes of the kids#it’s no different than how we relate to adult fictional characters?
