Imagine if instead of Resident Evil, we had a 1980s GI Joe style cartoon show about S.T.A.R.S. search and rescue team.
The show focuses on Chris and Jill as the main protagonists, with Barry as the goofy dad-humor side character, and their boss captain Wesker.
Chief Irons is played as a goofy semi-antagonist, forcing down arbitrary rules and calling Wesker into his office off screen every time Chris and Jill go against regulations to get the job done.
Rebecca shows up later in the series as a new recruit and there’s a focus episode on Wesker trying to hide his crush on her that’s played for comedy.
In the last episode the get the call about an incident implied to be the arklay mansion incident, and the last scene in the show is gearing up for it. The show was not renewed after that season.
