I didn’t end up watching Elementary because I actually really hate moving the Sherlock Holmes stories into the modern day.
I’m really very attached to the Victorian era where they take place in the original stories and putting them in the modern day just loses a lot of the appeal and romance for me.
It’s the same reason I didn’t really care for Sherlock (among others.)
