Caspar liked to just sit with the Professor sometimes.
Caspar was always doing something; training, talking, fighting, studying, chasing, joking, and a thousand other things every day. Sometimes he felt like he only knew how to do, and not how to just be.
Professor Byleth knew how to just be. And in a small way, that rubbed off on Caspar.
The two of them sat under a tree on a hill just outside the monastery watching the sunset together.
Wordlessly, Byleth put a hand around Caspar’s shoulders and Caspar gently leaned his head against the professor. Love passed between them.
