this isn’t a curious anon because I’m trying to work through being too shy to directly approach people but!as a fan of Sherlock Holmes, what’s your opinion of Elementary (CBS), if you have one? I remember liking it, but I wasn’t too terribly invested and I’m not a big fan of the Holmes mythos so my enjoyment was largely filtered through my crush on Lucy Liu at the time.
I didn’t end up watching Elementary because I actually really hate moving the Sherlock Holmes stories into the modern day.
I’m really very attached to the Victorian era where they take place in the original stories and putting them in the modern day just loses a lot of the appeal and romance for me.
It’s the same reason I didn’t really care for Sherlock (among others.)
