If you’re deciding whether or not to follow us, please make that decision based on the content of our blog, rather than by posing us some kind of ideological riddle.
If you like someone’s blog posts, but their lack of complete ideological transparency bothers you, that’s okay and you don’t have to follow them.
“but what if I end up following someone who is secretly a bad person?”
Someone can easily lie to you and tell you want you want to hear and you still end up following a secretly bad person.
“but what if I reblog a post that sounds morally good to me but they secretly mean something I think is morally bad?”
I am sorry to inform you how open to interpretation all language and communication is.
Watching for red flags and dogwhistles is absolutely very important but at the end of the day, imagining a different meaning to words based on who says them ends up in tumblr “piss on the poor” territory and bad faith readings.
