Controversial take, but: “I’m not a shipper bc my ship is more likely to happen” when it’s not even a canon pairing, is some high level cope by people who don’t wanna admit they’re just as “bad” as all the other fucking shippers. Especially when they try so hard to “prove” why their ship is “more likely to be canon.” Same goes for people who ship canon pairs, but don’t wanna call it that. You’re all just filthy shippers like the rest of us, it’s embarrassing when they then shit on reg-shippers.
