The night they broke free from the school, they were collected by ‘The Future Foundation’ and given rooms in one of their safehouses.
Despite the guard watching, Toko sat outside of Byakuya’s room like a lonely dog until he’d let her in. It probably would have been sooner if she’d had the courage to actually knock.
Byakuya let her arch her body against the curve of his as they lay in bed, a book in hand while neither of them could sleep.
She leaned her head against him, and he kissed her cheek as the clock ticked to 6 am.
