Is there a word for when something isn’t a rare pair but still only has like 5 fics because the fandom is so small
The Yuletide gift exchange (which works every year to fill requests for pairings like these– look it up on fanlore) just calls them “rare fandoms.”
But I submit you could call also them:
- Cursed
- Small fandom syndrome
- RIPskies
- BYOB (bring your own boys)
