I’m saying this on anon but it relates to someone’s response to a specific post: “writing abusive relationships to show the evils” vs “writing abusive relationships to show the romance”As if real life abusive relationships are only full of clearly defined evils without any moments of what could be thought of as affection in between. (Sarcasm ahead) Because, yeah, famously, women only stay in abusive relationships because they like the abuse, not because they genuinely think their partner would love them more if they just bent to every demand, not because they genuinely want that love, not because they don’t recognize their situation as abuse. (End sarcasm)
