‼️ Attempting to restrict the kind of fiction that people create or consume because you think it might cause them emotional or psychological harm is authoritarian.
‼️ It is safe to explore any ideas and themes in fiction. Fiction does not and cannot cause physical harm to any person. You are always in control of the fiction you are creating or consuming.

If your reactions starts with listing “exceptions”, you’re part of the problem. If you don’t like it, don’t read or watch it. Blacklist or mute it so it doesn’t show up in your socmeds. But you don’t get to tell others they *cannot* read or watch it.
I regret the necessity of this PSA.
WHY is fandom like this now tho. I remember when I was here in 2013 it was all sex positivity and don’t like don’t read. How did things regress to this point.
