Obsessed with long-form time-travel fix-it fics.
There’s absolutely nothing like the power of watching the beaten down hero who’s lost everything to the point beyond saving get the chance to go back and try again.
Seeing them return to their friends, alive, and whole, and exactly the way they remember them– while the hero feels like a broken shadow of the person that they should know.
Completely determined to make it right this time. By whatever means necessary.
We could read 1000 of them in any fandom, or original story and it wouldn’t be enough.
Oh we Love those. Or those where the protagonist has to go back to another time to fix it. Where they know they’ll be too late, or where they cant bear to relive the og timeline at all. They’re Such a fun genre of fic/story man, we haven’t seen them too much like, generally around but Fuck they’re good
Yes! Yes all of those are great! Going back into the past of the timeline. Or totally averting the timeline at the first chance they get. Good stuff. GOOD stuff.
Exactly!! Or also sacrifycing everyrithing else for an happy ending for themselves is so so fun, there’s just So many possibilities and they’re all Great
There was a Certain Fandom where all these were really popular, and that’s really the only thing we miss about it. We haven’t found the same abundance of them anywhere else sadly. V_V
