Honestly, I hate that we prefer tumblr. we prefer Mastadon *philosophically*, but it’s just worse for our own practical uses.
We tried, repeatedly to get into posting on mastadon instances but it just didn’t work– and it wasn’t for a lack of followers or interaction. Just the whole flow of posting there is different, and it doesn’t work for what we use tumblr for.
Admittedly– we still miss livejournal.
