There’s so much “being kind requires zero effort/costs 0 dollars/is easy” positivity going around, so I just wanted to say that actually it’s valid if being kind is hard for you – and that you’re amazing for putting in the effort, even if it doesn’t come naturally!
A person to whom kindness is difficult, but something they pursue anyway–
a person to whom kindness is a hard choice that they have to make again and again–
That person’s kindness is twice as admirable as someone to whom kindness comes easy.
That person is an admirable type of person to be.
