I’ve perceived Dave as angry way more often than Karkat in the comic for no reason I could explain so if you ask me I’d say Dave’s the angry one out of the two
Act 2 and 3? Dave pissed at having to play the game, crows and smuppets
Fourth act? Dave

pissed
at his sprite and
pissed
at Jade for making it a crow
Fifth act? Dave
pissed
at Terezi’s trolling, at his consorts being annoying, at Bro’s death, then at Rose for trying to ditch him during the suicide mission
Sixth act? Dave
pissed that his references are getting outdated.
Pissed at
that he’s being recruited to fight Lord English. Pissed at the Bec demons in Game Over. Post retcon momentarily pissed at Vriska, John, his Bro and so on
And on top of that Davesprite is a feathery ball of resentment through all of his existence
