I recommend reading the whole thing, but here are some screenshots.

Basic gist is that antis are causing trouble for overseas fandoms as well and are seen as a nuisance to fandom instead.
[The first screenshot reads, “At the time, I believed that "proship” referred to problematic ships and depictions and that this went against standard English fandom etiquette, so I braced myself against backlash from English-speakers and tweeted the following.
I explained that the concept of “proship” and the distinction between “problematic” ships doesn’t exist in Japan, that it’s not good to insult someone’s work, that in Japan those people are looked down upon for not being able to distinguish between fiction and reality, that I’d never drawn something that could be considered proship, and that I was grateful for my followers’ support.
It was meant to just be for my followers, but it ended up spreading more than expected, which is how I learned the actual meaning of “proshipper.”“
The second screenshot reads, "If you receive a reply or DM containing the words "proship” or “proshipper,” ignore it and block immediately. If you reply carelessly and accidentally say something that can later be used against you, you may become a target for harassment.
Avoid accounts that have “proship DNI” in their profile. DNI = do not interact. Not only is it very likely that people who say this are antis themselves, but antis may also be monitoring them closely to make sure they have no interaction with proshippers. Since you can’t know what sensibilities toward Japanese fiction might lead to harassment, it’s safer to avoid interaction from the beginning.“
The third reads, "If you’ve managed to find this article after being slandered and called a proshipper, I’d like to reassure you, "Don’t worry about it, those are just the American feelings yakuza.”“]
