Okay, because I’m curious. I started “selfshipping” (i.e. having emotionally “real” relationships, romantic and otherwise, with fictional characters) when I was 10 or so, but didn’t find the community until I was 22.
Definitely wish I’d found it sooner! I became so much more confident after realizing I wasn’t alone.
For how long did you selfship BEFORE you knew it was a “thing” that had a community?
I started selfshipping because of the community / after I found the community

We’re in our 30s and started self shipping (not by that name) before we were 10.
