“make an outline!” they said
“It’ll make your writing easier!” they said.
and I hate that they are right.
I hate that, for me at least, not having to decide what’s going to happen next while I’m actively staring at the blank page trying to write it makes actually writing it so much easier.
It’s like driving. Instead of deciding where to go on vibes alone I have maps yelling “TURN RIGHT” in my ear.
Of course sometimes I turn left instead and have to adjust the whole map…
