i see more and more people saying ‘not a proshipper, not an anti, just someone whos tired of this shipcourse’ andim a proshipper myself! im tired too! cause this discourse wouldnt be a thing in the first place if people had a minimum of respect! being disturbed by incest or noncon or whatever in fiction is perfectly fine and valid. where we have a problem is when some people start making assumptions about others cause of their taste in said fiction and find it justifiable to threaten them
I mean yeah it definitely wouldn’t have even become a thing if we all could just learn to leave each other alone
Honestly I have just flat stopped using the terms “proship” or “anti”.
People who are in support of don’t like, don’t read, blocking, curating your experience etc etc are just typical courteous fans.
The people who call themselves “antis” and run around harassing people I have started just referring to as “pro-censorship fans”.
