Having already mentioned Jill Valentine’s lack of brainwashing in RE5 era, and Rose Winters explicitly being the reincarnation of Evelyn, I’m going to say some bonkers words to you.
Steve Burnside from RE: Code Veronica and Salvatore Moreau from Village have a bizarre psychic bond that results in them essentially being the same person. This has the effect of making them more difficult to resurrect than other people until that element is understood.
What brought this change about? IDK what to say on this one. Vibes? We and our writing partner were just talking one day and it kind of turned into a thing.
