I love it when there is something menacing about a romance. When there is awe, and more than just a hint of horror.
i wrote a short five pieces about something like this. i don’t think i nailed the feeling but i DO wanna redo it eventually, with the proper framing and stuff to capture the unease.
in the meantime, i think i’ll revive an old wip to be a dark romance about a reincarnating bride and the groom-turned-demon who wants to marry her. 😛
oh that sounds like a really great story <3
