I am!!! Slayers: Next is one of my favourite seasons of anything ever. I am a huuuge Xellos/Zelgadis shipper, and Lina/Goury of course!!
I think my favourite part about it is that Lina’s elder sister is, like, THE hero who communes with the gods, and Lina is like 2 steps away from being a bandit. It’s so fucking great.
Hell yes!! We discovered the series waaaaay back on VHS and it exists as a sizeable chunk of our brain. XD
One simply MUST be a Lina/Goury shipper, of course. Honestly, as usual for us, we’re major multishippers/polyshippers for the whole cast lol.

It’s so fucking good. It’s one of those classic anime from my youth that I’ll never get over. It’s also one of the few shows that acknowledges periods lmao. Lina feelijg weaker and suffering from cramps was suuuch a breath of fresh air.
I’m a huge slow burn/slow build fan, so Lina/Goury scratches that itch perfectly!!!
It’s one of the all time greats, really genuinely. It’s been on our mind recently, so you are likely to see some fanworks from us about it.
It’s really a shame the fandom in the west has shrunk so small– in Japan they’re still getting merch and cafe tie ins, and occasional light novel chapter updates.
