Holy shit this question makes me realize that while our Alcina has occasionally posted on the blog herself, we don’t actually talk much about her on here, do we? And Jasmine F/Os her and everything….

I think part of the reason is we don’t is we kind of feel like the fandom objectifies her a little heavily? Her character gets very flattened out into big sexy lesbian mommy, and she’s definitely more than that for us.

I think my favorite ‘headcanon’ about Alcina is that she has a terrible wine-mom sense of humor, and would adore minions memes the instant she found out they existed.
