The fandom straight up put us off of ever watching the new She-Ra thanks to the way they all treated the man characters.

Coffee shop AUs. They’re like watching paint dry. They’re like eating drywall.
I don’t know about everyone else, but if what I wanted from my media was chill, modern day slice of life romances I would not be engaging with media where people are constantly stabbing one another, and things are always blowing up.
We just. We just don’t understand the appeal of taking a media that’s an action, horror, adventure, thriller, etc and taking all of the stakes and circumstances out of it.
If you take Blorbo Actionman and Tim Traumatized out of the trauma, they’re both just some guy.
I’m not interested in watching just some guys hook up and kiss. I wanna watch Blorbo and Tim cry on each other while picking glass out of their wounds.
