I write fanfic for the love of it/fandom engagement means nothing to me

Engagement is nice but I have enough love/energy/inspo to sustain my creativity

It’s hard to live off kudos alone, I love reader comments and feedback

I write largely for the sense of community and that need is fulfilled

The less community engagement there is, the less I feel inspired to write

I’m thinking of quitting writing fanfic due to lack of fandom engagement

I quit writing fanfic partially/largely due to lack of fandom engagement

I quit writing fanfic entirely due to lack of fandom engagement

I’m a ff writer of yore and I’ve been thru pretty much every stage of the above
