Just…all the breathing room to get to know the characters, for them to interact, to build up a history.
Of course a lot of shows wasted a lot of this causing nonsensical character development and the like, but still, I just miss it.
I hate the current trend of seeing anything that is subtly plot moving as useless. Everything has to be 100% all the time, as if you’re not moving the plot as fast as possible then you’re wasting everyone’s time.
