Growing up, my mother never let me or my brother say “This food is bad.” We were only ever allowed to say “I don’t like this food.”

Learn to accept that your opinion doesn’t equal to the absolute truth. People have different experiences. Neither is wrong.

Also! Flipping this around: just because someone doesn’t like you, doesn’t mean that you’re a bad person. Also, also: just because you don’t like someone doesn’t mean they’re a bad person.
