- Remember when George Michael was outed after he was arrested for soliciting consensual sex, which was a thing that happened to a TON of gay men in the US? Anyway, crime is bad.
- Remember when Ashley Richardson was arrested for leaving her children alone to play in a park when she went to a food bank? Don’t give the cops an excuse to arrest you.
- Remember when journalists covered the Trump inauguration and were charged with felonies? You should be a good example by following the law.
- Remember when a homeless mom was arrested and fined for sending her son to the school district that her father lived in? If you get arrested for crimes, it’s your fault for doing crimes.
- Remember how the NYPD arrests trans women for carrying condoms because that’s “proof” that they’re sex workers? I’m just so tired of seeing comrades arrested, don’t do things the police will arrest you for.
When you say “well, police should arrest drug dealers because dealing drugs is morally bad” you are granting that “Morally Bad” is a good reason to arrest someone.
For the sake of convenience, I have included five crimes that a significant portion of the US population has considered “morally bad” in the last twenty-five years.
