forms of intimacy that aren’t beautiful or glamorous. killing each other over and over in a time loop. being so afraid of them you have to know everything about them. dueling, blood drinking, cannibalism. knowing what their heart looks like, literally. seeing them in their worst, most crazed state. the negative bond between two people who can’t help but hurt each other. the feeling of wanting this fued to end, but being too invested now. a repulsion so fierce it wraps back around to magnetism and fascination but never loses its sting. passion that’s ugly. passion that isn’t love. human experiences we like to look away from
