actually deleting last reblog bc i dont like ops language but in general: ppl over identify with the term proship and try to make it a coherent community when it is, at most, a baseline of interacting with fiction and should honestly not be used as it gives credence to the idea that “antishipping” is a coherent or meaningful new stance and not just over zealous teens and maliciously stupid young adults getting high on acting as a moral authority
