Yesss!! I will organize my thoughts better later, but so far I have been really enjoying it!!
The prose has this really sensual and luxuriant way of lingering over things (vices, especially). Warning that there IS some graphic sex in it (yes in the first 50 pages or so!). I saw some people on reddit complaining about that.
I should put Scarface next on my list– I’d really like to be able to say I’ve read all the genre classics.
