I got invested into BlackBright so much while playing AA5, and the ending left me devasted. So much so that I ended up coming up with Phantom’s backstory where he was brainwashed and abused by a large criminal organization until he met Simon and genuinely fell in love and started to question everything. Then I realized I pretty much turned their dynamic to remind me of a movie I really like xD
(I started to write a redemption arc fic about it too, if somebody is interested. Warning, it’s NC-17)
