It’s funny to me the idea of having liked vs hated ships (vs indifferent ships). To be honest I don’t have a hated ship list? I’ll read ANYTHING with any ship. Any permutation and combination. Like, N/J is my ride or die ship (otp just feels dated these days). I’m just very much ‘okay you have this ship. Now convince me of it’.

I have encountered the most tame to the most wild out there ships in my fandom career ™ and the most fun ones to me are the ones that go 100% balls to the wall in convincing me that these characters should be involved with each other in whatever that means. Compel me, make me love your take and your pair (or poly or whatever).

Seeing ships in this way I’ve found fun gems that challenge the context of the very thing I’m a fan of and it’s a wonderful feeling.
