The idea of the “thought police” is hilarious because then, I would end up being arrested if that was a real thing because I sometimes thought about beating up that one drunk driver that almost killed a family member of mine, but I wouldn’t act on it because acting on it will put me in jail for assault. Not to mention that so much of fiction made for an adult audience in mind like Resident Evil has a lot of violence, but that gets a free pass (for now) but the minute there is any form of sexual taboo, it gets demonized. Really says a lot about the people that argue back and forth on your “I don’t like this thing, so I want this banned is authoritarian” topic.
I really just want to make pro-censorship fans sit down and watch the 2002 film “Equilibirum”.
whats really insane to me about antis is that they dont act Like That towards like… murder. do they think people who enjoy horror movies think murder is okay?????? no, they dont. they only do this shit with sexual content. they dont even believe in their own fucking logic.
I think the worst possible answer might be the true one.
I think they simply genuinely don’t think murder is bad.
I think they see murder as a righteous tool of justice and that’s why they wish death on people all the time.
