I’m not like, a leader. I don’t like being a leader. It’s not really my calling to organize people. But I am one of those people who will take charge if nobody else is ready and willing to do it. If the situation doesn’t have a leader and it needs one, I’ll do it and try my best.
And pretty much everyone I think has some level of tolerance for leadership. At some point in some group of people you’d end up in a leadership position. Even if that’s just if you’re stuck with a group of toddlers in an extreme scenario somehow. There’s a sliding scale both of how good you are at leading and how much you want to lead and those two scales don’t necessarily always match up. Someone might be a great leader and not be willing to do it or someone might be ready and willing to lead and be very bad at it but at some point or another in our lives leadership is demanded of all of us if even just for a second.
So anyways my working theory is that this is also how being the protagonist of a fictional story works.
