The should have made new sprites for Klavier post-Dual Destinies, if not post-Apollo Justice.
I know they didn’t want to put in the work but I fully believe he would have changed how he wore his hair.
You guys are so real for this. My own headcanon is that Kristoph was the one who gaslit Klavier into getting the same hairstyle as him when he was around 18-19 and Kalvier ends up cutting it some time after Turnabout Succesion (probably during a breakdown).
I just can clearly picture Kristoph telling him “Well, well… Now that you are a respected name inside the legal world, it’s time to take proper care of your hair mein brüderchen. What would happen if witnesses didn’t take you seriously in court with that rat’s nest you call a hairstyle?”
Honestly, that’s pretty much exactly how I feel like it went down. Kristoph for sure manipulated him into wearing his hair the same way.
After everything that went down with him, I think at some point Klavier was just like… fuck it.
It might have been a bad haircut for a while.
