I keep seeing people suggest it’s mean to blacklist tags when your mutuals post stuff you don’t like. It is not. It keeps you from resenting your mutuals!
I cannot recommend enough that people blacklist tags for things they don’t like. TLOU is not for me – I haven’t watched it and have no specific criticisms, but it’s not for me. I blacklisted tags associated with it and **poof** peace on my dash! I also have “gore” blacklisted. I blacklisted Hannibal for a while. Nothing against either of those things. But they were not my scene personally so ON TO THE BLACKLIST.
What I’m saying is. Your fandom is not my fandom but your fandom is okay. I take responsibility for curating my dash when I can. I can’t curate for microagressions (and macro agressions!) because people don’t tag for that. But I can curate for stuff I don’t like for personal reasons.
And btw this is one of the reasons I tag things and will add tags if people request.
