"Are you telling me you want to quit?" He asks.ALT
Page 3. Panel 1: Kaz turned to look at ocelot with a confused, slightly offended expression. He says, "What? No."

Panel 2: Kaz continues. "Isn't it?" A close up of the nightstand. There is a vintage digital clock reading 2:37. There is an ashtray, a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter in front of it.
Panel 3: A curtain in front of the foot of a hospital bed. "At this point, I've lived without him longer than I lived with him."
Panel 4: A vase of star of bethlehem flowers. "What if he doesn't wake up for another five years? Ten?"
Panel 5: A speech bubble on a black background. "When do we start planning for a world where he's gone?"ALT
Page 5. Panel 1: Ocelot angrily grabs Kaz's face with one scarred hand, and they stare at each other intensely. "We don't." Ocelot says. "He will wake up."
Panel 2: A straight on view of Ocelot's face. He has a tired expression as he leans forwards and looks up at Kaz. "And until he does, you and I will keep working together. For as long as it takes."
Panel 3: A straight on view of Kaz with a tilted head and a pensive expression. Ocelot's hand has migrated down to sit on his neck, thumb on his pulse. Kaz says, "... As long as it takes, huh?"ALT
Page 6, a full page panel of Kaz gently pulling Ocelot's hand away from his neck. They stare at each other. The bedspread pools around their waists. Kaz looks rueful, and Ocelot looks serious. Kaz says "Then I guess we're stuck with each other." ALT
