Is funny how you say that the character with the most queer subtext of all ace aorney is Apollo (true btw) but yet the people of reddit have fond a heteronormative subtest for him: his interactions with Athena. Some even call the pairing between Athena and Apollo the best outcome for each character.Hetero people will always find a way to find heteronormative readings into everything, unless the media is queer stereotypes galore.
LOL! That’s so funny, tbh! Nothing against the pairing– (I ship Apollo/Athena as a tertiary ship) but there’s exactly ONE moment between them in the whole series that could be construed as romantic/sexual subtext.
Its when Athena has gotten herself bound up in front of the whole court, and she suddenly asks Apollo if he’s into this shit. 🤣
(I have a whole other essay ready to go on Athena being into bondage since it comes up more than once but that’s not relevant here.)
