Obsessed with this actually. We know gumshoe doesn’t know the details of dl6 because edgeworth asked him not to dig up his past, which he respected, yet from the snippets he knows (and the fact that he knows this stuff at all already says a lot about the trust edgeworth has in him and their relationship) he’s deduced… edgeworth’s big main psychological issues basically. I mean he got it in one there. Gumshoe is a himbo extraordinaire, but damn he’s emotionally intelligent. He really understands people. And boy does he understand and love edgeworth
