getting this notification was really depressing. we need to bring back “don’t like, don’t read” because people are literally just writing fiction and the comments were disabled because of abuse towards writers.

We’re pretty sure the abusive comments were left by bots, not people. “Don’t like, don’t read” won’t help, unfortunately.
