Yes, you’re correct! We’re talking Victorian boys-only school. I don’t get the logic behind it, considering the original frame of Ciel going “fag?” brought a ton of attention to the chapter + was historically accurate.
Deeply frustrating change in the name of pandering to modernity over using historically correct terminology.
