Apollo Justice age regressor headcanons
(inspired by this post)

• Apollo regresses due to an unstable childhood, neglect, and trauma
• regresses to between roughly 6-10 generally
• initially only experienced involuntary regression, and didn’t really understand what was going on
• Kristoph encountered Apollo during a regression one time, figured out what was happening, and explained it to Apollo– partially just in order to take over the role of caregiver and better control Apollo
• Apollo is very embarrassed and ashamed of his regressor status and its relationship to his trauma. He considers it a weakness and not in line with his desire to be “Fine” and be a strong person. For this reason he keeps it a secret from almost everyone.
• Apollo’s favorite regression activities are watching children’s’ media, coloring and playing with stickers. He has a comfort blanket that he keeps on his bed, and plushies he keeps hidden.
• Apollo initially didn’t trust Klavier with his secret, fearing that the cool rockstar would make fun of him. This only changed when he learned that Klavier also regresses, and afterward they sometimes regress together and sometimes take turns acting as caretaker.
• Apollo cares about and admires Phoenix Wright, and absolutely does not trust him with his secret, not wanting Wright to see him as weak or less dependable in a crisis.
