Kristoph never minded bringing his little brother to choir practice, until the director asked if Klavier could sing with them.
He had always been praised for his voice, but Klavier sang like an angel. When the spotlight shifted, and the director’s face lit up at Klavier’s voice, Kristoph had a fantasy of cutting his brother’s throat.
But that would mean he’d never hear him sing again.
Kirstoph called out sick to the next three practices before he managed to drag himself and Klavier back.
He never volunteered for a solo again.
At least Klavier had something that made him happy.
