Idk if this makes sense to anyone but i honestly headcanon Vera Misham as autistic. Yeah sure the genius/savant trope is overused but i think it works when it’s unintentional kinda?
Vera seems like a very real character to me that i as an autistic person can see myself in.

I’d argue that there’s significant enough subtext to make the case that Vera is deliberately written to be read as autistic. 🤝
Right? I’m still not entirely done with the case but with the childhood flashbacks/ past memories it stands even clearer to me. She definitely reads as autistic to me. Close to a textbook case of “stereotypical girl autism” in lack of better words
